| About the Nondual Approach | Human suffering is closely linked to our tendency to identify with whatever arises in awareness. As the Buddha explained, we then struggle to either hold onto or try to push away whatever is arising in awareness. The constant desires and fears that emerge as a result of our struggles to change our experience takes us into an imaginary world. Whatever arises ultimately is not in our control and we are not separate from "it". When we are able to transcend the apparent separation of the mind and its contents, we begin to rest as awareness. Then perhaps, we can begin to appreciate life as it unfolds, in peace. |
